MESSAGES FROM THE PRESIDENT

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Explorer activities are starting up again! Whether previously an Explorers member or not, you are welcome to attend the Explorers Open Morning and find out more about joining the new Explorers group.

As the Year of the Dragon begins, I invite you to visit our website as frequently as possible. It is our one stop location for MCG information.

Membership renewals are due in January. Memberships will lapse if renewals are not received by the end of February.

Our next Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for 2 May 2012. Consider joining the committee or volunteering in another capacity.

If you have not visited our Library, I encourage you to do so. The Library has had more activity since moving to its new location last August than it has in years! We are even adding books to our collection, thanks to the generous donations of various members.

I extend an open invitation to contact me with your thoughts on MCG, especially ideas for programming and nominations for committee positions:

We are seeking to increase the volunteer base among our membership. We are still looking for a Vice President on the committee, as well as members for the Events Planning Team (EPT), and we have plans to enhance our newsletter production. If you can contribute your time to the MCG for a few hours on occasion or in a regular capacity, please contact me: . Thank you!
